Video DJing

Video DJing is the latest weapon I have to offer in my arsenal of party rocking skills. Video DJing, also known as VJing, is the playback and mixing of music video files. Video mixing creates a visual performance to add to my regular music mixing sets. The videos can be played on a variety of visual media platforms, from large projection screens to small monitors set-up in front of my turntables. I plan to expand and pick up more gigs at venues that can accommodate video mixing. I have already added Video DJing to the mix(Pun Intended) at my weekly Friday night gig at the Hideaway Club. The bar at the Hideaway has screens everywhere broadcasting ESPN and sports channels so it's perfect for VJing. It adds an interesting element for people at the bar and I noticed people hovering in front of the TV's where my mix was playing.
